Congratulations Mr and Mrs Brown

20 Aug 2016

The weekend of the 6th of August was the big day for our latest bride, Angela, and her new husband Tim. The newly wed Mr and Mrs Brown were married in The Guildhall building in Hull, surrounded by friends and family, they had beautiful weather as well as a grand setting in which to say their vows. They even had Angela’s talented photographer friend, Fiona Hodgson, to capture the day for them.

Angela realised whilst trying her dress at a final fitting that her glasses were detracting from her overall look as her own frame was quite dark and really stood out against her intricately detailed white dress by Essence of Australia from Bridal Boutique in Sutton Hull.

Angela contacted Karen to try and get a pair of glasses that would better suit her dress and create a more delicate elegant look

Angela had already arranged her hair with Lisa Gibson at Cook Hair and for her make-up she decided to use Charlotte Tilbury, their senior artist Megan came all the way across from Harvey Nichols in Leeds for the wedding. With everything else already in place, picking the right pair of glasses was going to be the finishing touch.

After a few initial phone calls Karen and Angela met and they went through Karen’s collection of bridal glasses to decide on the perfect pair.

They decided on a stunning rimless Swarovski frame with a reflection free finish on her lenses which enables you to better see Angela's eyes and make-up, perfect for the wedding photos. It was very important that the eyewear didn't divert attention from Angela's face and dress, instead seeing them as an accessory to compliment Angela's complete look.

“…they looked fab and everyone said I made the right choice.” (Mrs Angela Brown)

Our warmest congratulations to the happy couple, we’re so thrilled that we could help Angela to create the perfect finish for her beautiful bridal apparel.

We’re sure that you will have enjoyed your stay at the Talbot Hotel in Malton and short break in Pateley Bridge for your first week as a married couple. I’m sure everyone will be in agreeance at what a lovely couple you make and how gorgeous Angela looked on your big day, you both looked positively beaming in your lovely pictures.

We hope you have many happy memories to cherish from your special day, and many more in the making.
