This year the The Great Knaresborough Bed Race will be on Saturday 9th June 2018.
An annual event in Knaresborough, where the locals have a theme to decorate their beds and then race around the beautiful town to then swim across the River Nidd.
Not for the faint hearted!
The procession starts at 1.00pm from the Castle Grounds to parade down the High Street (past our Yorkshire Eyewear practice) to Conyngham Hall to start the race at 3.00pm.
A great family day out and lots of money raised for charities organised by the Knaresborough Lions Club.
